Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is a common thermoplastic. This material combines the strength and rigidity of the acrylonitrile and styrene polymers with the toughness of the polybutadiene rubber, giving it strong impact resistance and toughness. Very adaptable, it is easily heat molded into stunning designs such as Tempo Bar Stool. While it's very light, making it mobile and easy to handle, it also deals well with bumps and scrapes for extremely resilient pieces of furniture.
ABS resin provides a easy-to-clean, stain-resistant covering. Clean it regularly to prevent stains from remaining. To wash it, you can use specially designed cleaning products and tools, or simply clean with mild detergent and a slightly damp sponge, and dry thoroughly. Do not use any harsh chemicals, nor rough cloth or abrasive sponge (risk of scratches).
You can use a metal cleaner to maintain the polish and shine, and if you find rust, use a rust-inhibiting spray paint to touch up any damaged areas. Scrub with a dry cloth. You can also clean with a soft tissue and a windows cleaning soap.
